Audi Launches 'Veterans to Technicians Program' for its Dealerships

A very sad reality of our modern times is that after brave men and women from the military have left the armed forces it's often difficult for them to find employment in civilian settings and therefore to assimilate back into a non-military lifestyle.

Luckily, an act passed by U.S. congress in 2011 known as the VOW (Veterans Opportunity to Work) to Hire Heroes provides enriched federal support for Veterans seeking employment and for the employers who hire them.

Employers like Audi of America, who recently launched a new program geared toward talented former military technicians who could be trained to become certified Audi service specialists.

Not only is this a helpful opportunity for Veterans, but also for Audi who has an immediate need for service technicians, shop foreman and service consultants due to its continued brand growth here in the Eau Claire, WI area and the U.S., at large.

The specific experience valued for recruitment of former military personnel include:

  • general automotive
  • power generation
  • aviation
  • welding
  • electronics
  • hydraulic systems
  • maritime systems

If you or someone you know would like more information about the program and eligibility, we at Audi Eau Claire encourage you to visit for more information.

The new Audi Veterans to Technicians program is just another example of the German automaker's commitment to philanthropy and support of brave servicemen and women.
